Caerwylan Hotel - 2010 Tariff and General Information

Bedrooms: Our 24 comfortable, contemporary, en-suite bedrooms were rebuilt to a high standard in 2008/09. We have a wide selection of beds: super king, king, four poster, double, twin and single. All bedrooms have double glazing, central heating, Acoustilay flooring, blackout window dressings, flat screen digital TVs, tea & coffee making facilities, telephone and a hair dryer. Every en-suite has a shower, WC, hand basin and shaver point. The majority also have a bath. Please see Caerwylan 2010 Room Details for specific information on each bedroom.

Executive Bedrooms: We have 6 Executive Bedrooms. These rooms are at the front of the hotel on the first and second floor and have large bay windows. The views of the sea, beach, castle and mountains are “wow”. Fresh fruit is provided on your arrival day. Bathrobes for the duration of your stay are provided free of charge.

Superior Bedrooms: There are 5 Superior Bedrooms. 3 rooms are at the front of the hotel on the third floor with sea and mountain views. The other 2 bedrooms are on the garden side of the hotel on the first and second floors with castle views.

Standard Bedrooms: These rooms face the castle or the town on the first, second and third floors.

Single Occupancy: Five Standard single rooms are available with no supplement. Single occupancy of a double room entails a £32.50 (Standard), £42.50 (Superior) or £50.00 (Executive) supplement per person, per night.

Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am. There is a buffet for starters which includes fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a wide range of cereals and pastries. The main course is served by our friendly waiting on staff and can be either a hearty cooked breakfast with the main items sourced from reputable, local producers or a selection of cold meats.

Dinner:In the evening the restaurant opens for dinner at 6 pm with last orders being taken between 8 and 9 pm, depending on the time of year. Our experienced Chef using local ingredients, as much as possible, freshly prepares all dishes. The menu changes each day and is priced on a per course basis. One course costs £9.95, two courses cost £13.95 and three courses £17.95

Families: Room 21 is our Family room, please enquire about our rates. From the lift to the bedroom there are two small flights of stairs with 11 stairs in total.
Group Rates: Available for groups of more than 20 people, please enquire.
Bar: On the ground floor we have a cosy south facing bar with a wide selection of wines, spirits, bottled beers and bottled lagers. In the evening we serve bar meals.
Credit/Debit Cards: We accept Delta, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo, Visa, at no extra charge.
Garden: On the west side of the hotel, we have a pleasant south facing lawn with deckchairs and sun loungers.
Gift Packages: Fresh flowers, birthday cakes, wine or champagne can be ordered for that special occasion. Please enquire for further details.
Internet: Wireless Internet access is available on the lower floors at no extra cost. In the lounge there is a computer for guests to browse the web free of charge.
Lift: There is a lift to all floors. From the lift to the bedrooms there are approximately 6 stairs with handrail. If mobility is an issue, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Parking: Subject to availability we have private garages @ £1.50 per night. Beach Bank is a one way public highway with no parking restrictions and on the Esplanade below there are no parking restrictions on the beach side of the road.
Residents Lounge: On the ground floor at the front of the hotel there is a spacious lounge with outstanding views of Cardigan Bay and Criccieth Castle. In the lounge for guest use is a computer, maps, magazines, jig-saws and playing cards.
Smoking Policy: All bedrooms and public rooms are “No Smoking”.
Deposit: £25.00 deposit per person is required at the time of booking. Please make cheques payable to the “Caerwylan hotel” or telephone 01766 522547 to quote your credit/debit card details.
Cancellation: For cancellations more than 72 hours prior to arrival we shall endeavour to re-let the room. If we are unable to do so we reserve the right to retain the deposit. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation within 72 hours of the 3 p.m. check in time, or of non-arrival or a curtailment of stay, we shall endeavour to re-let the room on your behalf. However, should we be unable to do so, it may be necessary to charge the full cost of the reserved accommodation. All guests are advised to take appropriate holiday Insurance.
VAT: All prices are quoted in £ sterling and include tax (VAT) at 17.50%.
